ASSISTANT Strength & Conditioning COACH Kevin Markle

Kevin Markle

Kevin Markle joined Alabama women’s basketball program in July 2024 as the team’s associate strength & conditioning.

Stony Brook (2021-24)

  • Served three years as assistant director of athletic performance for women’s basketball, soccer and volleyball

  • Worked with coaches on load management through Kinexon GPS units, Force Plates and Nordbord

  • Assisted in the development of the football and men’s basketball athletic performance program

  • Oversaw operations for the graduate assistant and intern program

 

Louisiana Tech (2020-21)

  • Designed and oversaw year-round strength and conditioning program for women’s basketball, volleyball, tennis and bowling
  • Assisted in the design and application of the men’s basketball strength and conditioning program
  • Monitored and provided workload feedback for women’s basketball using FirstBeat heart rate monitors
  • Established first strength and conditioning program for the track and field program

Wagner (2018-20)

  • Directly oversaw year-round strength and conditioning program for men’s basketball (2018-20)
  • Severed as interim director of strength and conditioning for the 8-week football summer conditioning program (2019)
  • Implemented first in-season strength program for women’s soccer with daily warmups and recovery
  • Developed women’s swimming and diving strength program in the weight room on dry land

UMass Lowell (2018)

  • Designed and implemented strength and conditioning programs for men’s soccer and lacrosse

Penn State (2016-17)

  • Assisted in the athletic performance improvement for nine sports, including women’s soccer, softball, field hockey, women’s tennis, baseball, men’s lacrosse, swimming and diving, and rugby
  • Helped the men’s basketball strength and conditioning program in strength training, plyometrics, conditioning and injury prevention
